Kirby D. Wise has 44 years of experience in making period handforged/tempered Spring Steel blades using only a coalfired forge,anvil and hammer in a traditional blacksmith shop. Kirby does not use any metal removal techniques or modern alloys nor Rockwell (furnace) hardening as he believes in making his ware so that a warrior of any era would be proud of owning. The online catalog shows just a few of the many period items he can and has made over the years.
