War continues in the area surrounding Yellowleaf (those areas labeled by PLATO as New South Provinia). While the New Empire will not attack neutrals, PLATO has done so in the past. Travel in this area should be kept to a minimum.

The New Empire will continue to oppose PLATO until they have left Provinia and returned to their bases in Camaris.

-- Banquo's Ghost [ah7]

The area around Yellowleaf is controlled by PLATO. Any faction may gather any resources they like. Combat between factions is prohibited. We welcome all newcomers to the area.

After continued exploration, development and consideration (not to mention the addition of a couple new members), the Northern Lights Alliance hereby extends its claim to the entire island of Krussos. If there is anyone setup on Krussos that we have missed, please contact us immediately.

Thank you, Ambassador Thalis sglasl@mindspring.com

Clan Dragonsbane was among the very first of the factions to travel to this strange, new land of Olympia II. Ever since our arrival here, some five and a half years ago, one of the Clan's goals was to be among the first to visit the underground kingdom of Subworld. As we approach the realization of this dream, we find ourselves wanting for some notion of what to expect in this new world.

It is for this reason that I ask for any faction who has yet visited Subworld to contact me, in the interest of fostering good relations, in hopes that we can work out a mutually beneficial arrangement. If you wish to discuss this matter, please contact me at rww@ica.net.

Also, on an unrelated topic, I am still in the market for giant birds, flying horses, and nazgul. I am located near the Imperial City, but I may be able to arrange transport of the goods from other areas.

Lastly, please visit the Grand Council of Alliances website, located at this address: http://www.lpr.com.au/carnelian/gcoa/

Greetings Olympians,

I would like to announce the opening of the household to outside visitors. You can visit it at: http://www.telenet.pt/~dl0363/HoL.htm There you will find important information about the House of Lords and the area we have set up in.

Live long and Prosper!

Lord Ralek Arkham Speaker for the House of Lords Kingdom of Cragstan

-- Fellowship of Solaris [tq9]

All: At last we are to meet him, the famous Captain Spalding. From climates hot and scalding, the Captain has Arrived! Most heartily we'll greet him, with plain and fancy cheering, until he's hard of hearing. The Captain has arrived! At last the Captain has arrived!

Jamison: I represent the Captain, who insists on my informing you of these conditions under which he comes here. In one thing he is very strict, he wants the women young and picked, and as for men, he don't want any bums here.

All: As for men he don't want any bums here. There must be no bums!

Jamison: The men must all be very old, the women hot, the champagne cold. It's under these conditions that he comes here.

Hives: I'm announcing Captain Jeffrey Spalding.

All: He's announcing Captain Jeffrey Spalding. Oh dear, he is coming. At last he's here.

Spalding (speaks): Well I'm certainly grateful for this magnificent washout, eh, turnout, and, eh, now I'd like to say a few words... (sings) Hello, I must be going. I cannot stay, I came to say I must be going. I'm glad I came, but just the same I must be going.

Mrs. Rittenhous: For my sake you must stay. If you should go away, you'll spoil this party I am throwing.

Spalding: I'll stay a week or two. I'll stay the summer through. But I am telling you that I must be going.

Mrs. Rittenhous: Before you go will you oblige us and tell us of your deeds so glowing?

Spalding: I'll do anything you say. In fact, I'll even stay!

All: Good!

Spalding: But I must be going.

Jamison: The Captain is a moral man. Sometimes he finds it trying.

Spalding: This fact I'll emphasize with stress: I never take a drink unless somebody's buying.

All: The Captain is a very moral man!

Jamison: If he hears anything obscene, he'll naturally repel it.

Spalding: I hate a dirty joke, I do, unless it's told by someone who knows how to tell it.

All: The Captain is a very moral man! Hooray for Captain Spalding! The African Explorer!

Spalding: Did someone call me shnoror?

All: Hooray, hooray, hooray!

Jamison: He went into the jungle, where all the monkeys throw nuts.

Spalding: If I stay here, I'll go nuts.

All: Hooray, hooray, hooray. He put all his reliance in courage and defiance, and risked his life for science...

Spalding: Hey, hey!

Mrs. Rittenhous: He's the only white man who covered every acre.

Spalding: I think I'll try to make her.

All: Hooray, hooray, hooray! He put all his reliance in courage and defiance, and risked his life for science...

Spalding: Hey, hey!

All: Hooray for Captain Spalding! The African Explorer! He brought his name undying fame, and that is why we say, hooray, hooray, hooray. (etc.)

Lexica Provinia

the Big Ten. The alliances that are full members of the council of ambassadors.

GCOA (Grand Council of Ambassadors), the so far least successful acronym in the history of Provinia. As we understand it, GCOA (there I go) is not a super-alliance, rather more like a Rotary for distinguished statesmen.

Harn Alliance. An alliance based in Southern Provinia. The formal head of state is Earl Bob, the Jolly Fat Guy, while foreign relations is handled by the Eminence Scarlet, Sir Jheremai. Some factions consider the name archaic, as it is not a fancyful abbreviation. A serious misconception is that they have anything to do with TIBS (another one of them abs).

-- Stuart LaGavulin [1619]

The Harn Alliance would like it known that it currently claims the area bordered by cs38 in the north-west, west to the Clan Dragonsbane territory and then along the ct line to the east to ct59. The border then goes south to the coast at dm59. Our southern border is the coast of Provinia on the dm line with the exception of Harn itself which is and shall always be a free city.

The Alliance has an open policy regarding travel and trade and encourages development in its area. We have a certain number of grants available to nobles wishing to establish inns, temples, towers, etc. We also have a number of very profitable trade routes that are available for exploitation for a small percentage.

The Alliance finds itself with an abundance of gold and is willing to pay reasonable sums for certain items and services.

Specifically we are interested in

Lana Bark (200 gold each) Blank Scrolls (400 gold each) Mithril (200 gold each) Winged Horses (1000 gold each, mated pair only) Riding Horses (90 each) Warmounts (150 each) Other Beasts (varies) Healing potions (200 each) Hounds (200 each)

We also buy the more mundane weaponry and resources but usually only in quantity (10+)

We also have several trade and exploration missions available for captains of independant ships that we are willing to pay good fees for.

For further information or to arrange payment and delivery please send a courier to Jheremai the Scarlet (apenney@lpr.com.au)

Yvengi is a louse!

War is man's eternal struggle: waged by zealots who care too much, and fought for serfs who care too little. Yet the hand of fate doth write cruel script; for 'tis those blessed souls that care just enough, that fore'er the victims' roles, shall play.

HEY YOU!! YA YOU!! The Illustrated Man! I noticed you have reopened after remodeling and under items for sale you have left out SECRETS!?!
