The ceasefire between PLATO and the New Empire has ended. No progress was made in negotiations. Neutral parties are advised to stay clear of the Yellowleaf area.
One note on the recent statements by PLATO. While I believe that PLATO honestly desires peace now, this does not change the fact that they were the aggressors in this dispute, launching an unannounced assault on the New Empire and attacking many neutral parties over the past twelve turns. Their desire for peace now is merely a desire to consolidate their gains. The New Empire will continue to oppose them until they have left Provinia and returned to their bases in Camaris.

We have attempted prior communications with you via the diplomatic mailer at the end of Month 3, Year 6 (turn 43), but as of yet have not received any reply. We are posting this notice to you in the Times in the hopes that communications may be established and could possibly result in accomodations are that mutually beneficial.

News from the Lords of the Crown :
As more people have joined the negotiations for borders, we want to postpone any final claims to next month. We hope by then to have reached an agreement suitable to everyone's needs.
We haven't heard yet from the Tuatha De Danaan alliance but would greatly appreciate it, if they would join us in these conversations.
I myself would like to correct an incorrect view some may have of me and my group. We in no way want to claim such a large area for ourselves. Our wish was to gather all parties and try to reach an agreement before unnecessary blood flows. So in a way : the area was claimed BY us but not FOR us. Sorry if that didn't came through.
For the moment I am just a spokesman for a lot of single factions, groups and alliances in the predifined area. I believe there is nobdy of ill-will, so I don't see a reason why we can't get a suitable sollution for all of us.

Unfortunately, the Shadow Alliance Times announcement in issue 43 turned out not be a hoax. Those responsible have been sacked.
Such is the problem with a secretive alliance. As of yet we have no members who are willing to risk placing public announcements and so, for the time being, the rumors must go on. We are so secretive that we don't even know who the members of our own alliance are. I don't even know who I am. I've been trying to find my butt with both hands for months now but even that is a secret.
From the start of this turn, all factions in the game have a shadow. In fact, everything in existence has a shadow. Well, unless it's really cloudy outside. Or it's dark. Or vampires. Or is that reflection in the mirror? Anyway, the next time the groundhog sees his shadow we won't post another one of these silly announcements for six weeks. Or is it six months? In any case, watch out for the postings, becuase
