Player-contributed press

The Crimson Citadel was captured in a bloodless coup last turn, and the lands around Yellowleaf are once again controlled by the New Empire. Negotiations are underway between PLATO and the New Empire, and look promising. However, until a final settlement is reached caution is urged for travellers in the area.

Hope everyone had a happy holidays (we certainly did ).

To the Northern Lights Alliance. Re: Most recent Krussos Claim

We have been on Krussos since turn 3 of existence and have met and befriend many factions. None of which belong to your alliance. It is with some concern that we read of your intention to claim the whole of Krussos.

Surely you are aware of the seniority of other less ridiculous claims: on turn 6 a claim to Krussos in the Times by our friends the Elements Alliance which includes the area in which we operate. It must be admitted that we were not aware of the full extent of Krussos that claim was made, and so we let pass without comment your alliance's land claim published in issue 34 of the Times. We cannot remain silent regarding your current land claim however, since we are quite actively engaged in the exploration and development of the eastern half of Krussos.

Therefore, I on the behalf of all Eastern Krussos inhabitants request that you respect the column-67 border you previously claimed.

But we were so pleased to have it in the shop, we thought we'd put it in the window for folks to look at. It's a sign of a new service we're putting in place: we will do location scries for you for 200 gold -- anywhere in Provinia, with no questions asked. Discretion is guaranteed. Greetings Olympiads.

News update: Banquos Ghost bribed the Citadel owner last turn. Drat!

Banquos Ghost then wrote me offering peace & safe passage off Provinia, but after I accepted his offer, he wrote back this didn't preclude attacks from New Empire nobles.

Drat again. That kind of peace we don't need.

best, Captain Arrr

As ruler of Prytani I wish to make public that we have agreed with the borders proposed to us by Sir Codric of the Lords Alliance. This means there are no conflict whatsoever. Rimmon Musketeers claim down to row CT and the Fence up to row DB, leaving us 5 rows.

Ferenth would be much improved if catapults could be motorized.

Happy New Year to one and all............................Lord Foul.

Will Plato be back ? Do they wanna save people again from something they don't wanna be saved ? Will innocent bystanders again be killed ?

Or will there be peace again in South Provinia, like a few months ago ? We hope so !

It seems that things are changing fast in the Yellowleaf area. Ruler one day, the next a vagabond without a home to call their own in Provinia. This is the fate of Plato, aggressor and despot, their armies led by incompetent fools, tail between their legs they will return to their homes in Camaris. So beware, citizens of Camaris !

[The Yellowleaf Resistance, no Ghost]

And than I began to understand ! How could Plato have gotten control of a territory controlled by that many factions. Well, by using a so called neutral party to do their dirty work. Relying on the supplies from Midnight Carnival. Just to state an example, if Midnight Carnival were a neutral party, they could deal with both parties. But giving winged horses and other supplies for free to Plato is an act of collaboration. Eventually they 'll understand that crime does not pay !

The biggest mistake one can make is to underestimate his opponent, maybe even worse is to underestimate the power of his opponents friends.

Why do great leaders of great alliances have to fuss about how big they and their armies are ? Maybe because they are afraid to lose face. Or maybe they are just hungry for power and want to impress everyone with what they have. Well my answer is, you guys are just plain pathetic.

Yvengi says he wants to bribed by Banquo

I would like to start bidding on Oleg Loudmouth or is that one not for sale

I think PLATO isn't that bad, at least they gave a Christmas present to the Empire, the question is what will they do next ? Go Home !!!-> This is the answer and they know it. And in case they don't remember were they came from we'll have to show them the way don't we.
