My Olympia II page for all G2 players is up at:

http://www.geocities.com/Area51/Cavern/4545/

The map of Provinia is growing, with new data being added all the time (table format: Netscape 3.x or higher is recommended.) My thanks to those who have contributed. I'm putting the new map data up as fast as I can. I've added information on the Harn region recently (Thanx A!) I also split the map into two sections along the xx69-xx70 columns to make navigation easier. After looking at the TIBS site, I realize I may have to split the map again into east, central and west Provinia. I didn't realize Provinia was so big when I started this undertaking.

Please continue to forward your contributions to me at:

bswain@nyx.net or stahl_und_stein@hotmail.com

I'm still seeking player essays, articles, etc. and will act as host to most any Olympia related info. You send the material and I'll put it into HTML as my time permits. I'm also interested in linking to any other Olympia related sites, so send those URLs gents.

"the student receives a visitation from the master"

"greetings my loyal follower, your progress pleases me. it has come to my attention that you have in your possession an artifact of savage control". "yes my master, this is true" replied the student. "this is good my loyal one. it will further my goals. but i must teach you how to use it properly". "i am yours to command my master" said the student. a smile spread over the masters face, "this is also good. in order to use the artifact, you must first molest small farm animals, have several "social" diseases, and be proficient with hip waders and velcro gloves". the master paused to look deep within the students soul. "ahhh, i see these things are qualities you already possess. good! we can continue your training"

Sun Tzu says:

Don't make mistakes in your orders!

In an ancient past he was the leader of a mighty nation, but fate had it that he would spill the blood of an innocent woman. The gods and the people were merciless in their fury, but his own oath of eternal guardianship made him live on. For many decades he sat alone in the devastated temple of his former patrons, reliving the scene again and again. How he was to take the head of the traitor when the young duchess Erica dashed forward, just fast enough to capture his mighty blade with her fair neck. Emerging from seclusion, in an effort to end his suffering and the painful thoughts, he sought out the mightiest monsters of his time. But the gods would not let him die and swordarm was still strong. But now he has hope once more, for the sage has it that a new leader has emerged. A man whose life is so sacred that the gods have recalled their fallen hero from his isolation to once again hail the mighty banner of the Undying Flame. The Black Knight, The Immortal, The Guardian is amongst the people once more, guarding the Third leader of men. Nothing must stand in his way.

Robert O'Neil woke from a heavy slumber. The ale was not setting well this night. He had had too much and now needed some fresh air. He arose from his pallet and stumbled to the window of his room in a daze. He opened the window to let in fresh air, but was not prepared to see the ball of green fire that drifted through the window and over his shoulder. He turned in astonishment to see the apparition float across the darkened room and through the closed door to the hallway of the inn. He shook himself and vowed not to partake so freely of the ale again as he found his way back to his bed. Out in the hall, the green sphere continued on to and through another door. It came to rest at the foot of the cot within and grew in intensity and size. "Pooka," came the Dagda's voice from within the light. "Yes, sire," Pooka replied rising from his bed. "Come!" The light shrunk back in size and led the young man out of the room, across the hall, down the stairs, and out of the inn. Once outside, the light led on down the street toward a less savory part of town. Through many streets it led, till, finally, in a rundown section, it drifted into a narrow alleyway behind an abandoned warehouse, which was col- lapsing in upon itself. Here the glowing orb came to rest upon a pile of debris and sank within. Pooka removed the rubble revealing a spot where the ground had given way and followed the light into the hole. Once inside, it became apparent that this was part of an abandoned and forgotten sewer system. Pooka was led a long ways under ground, through many twists and turns, squeezing here and there btween mighty tree roots. Finally, the light came to a halt where one wall had given way, and a passageway slanted downward away from the old sewer, dry from dissuse. "Though the greater part of your destiny lies above, you will find great power below." Said the Dagda. Before the echo of his voice had died away, a second light arose within the passageway, and, within that light, the form of a man took shape.
