That's certainly possible, but who am I to decide what's fair or not?
Should your ability to swear nobles depend on how well you can present
arguments via email, whether you're a native english speaker, or whether
I like you are not?

Obviously I would try to be fair, but the whole point of rule-by-law
(rule by the rules) instead of rule by the GM is that it removes any
possibility that the GM is playing favorites. This would be another
opportunity for GM bias to creep into the game.
