Floating Markets Revisited

This is my final, last statement on the subject of markets, unless some
new point is raised.

This is not what I think. What I think, very precisely, is the
following: From long experience with many game systems which attempt to
simulate market movements, and which fail badly in important ways (i.e.,
being subject to manipulation), I conclude that it is extremely
difficult to design such a system which works well.
