A good friend and mentor has asked me to place the below message on the g2 list do to a problem with his system. I was unable to do this due to my system so I post it in full here in the "Boring Newsletter" In hopes all will see. -Lord Foul-

To the various and sundry upon Provinia.

Me thinks it rather typical that the Lady Eowyn, sometime mouthpiece for the Lords of the Crown, chooses to scoff at the Musketeer attempt at diplomacy as some form of weakness. I find it a grand display of the entire mindset behind the so-called 'Crown'.

Wing & Talon have longtime held sway over our domain east of Greyfell, having built said domain from our own sweat and tears uponour arrival with the original 11 of Greyfell (of which very few remain, I believe). We had standing agreements with the lesser duchies on allour borders, including the small domain of Annuin/Port Royal, who we graciously bequeathed to one Lord Random of Monotis many moons ago. Our fate led us to border agreements and then into formal alliance with theRimmon Musketeers.

The 'Nation' of Ergoth speaks with a swagger befitting an opportunist. The lands of the Greyfell region fell into anarchy withthe dissolution of the ruling factions and the Ergothians assumed their self-titled role as rulers of Greyfell. Nary a diplomatic word hascome from these rulers to those of us who wouldst consider Greyfell a freeand peaceful domain, and whose borders figure prominently with the'Nation'.

A sizable yet unimposing stack has crossed Talon lands in an attempt to seize control of the 3 province castle at Annuin. Ergothhas held the brash and childish posture that a free Greyfell means that*they* have the right to do as they please in the area. If *we* had had a simliar mindset in the past, their current duchy would currently be Talon domain. We have tolerated, even welcomed, their presence, we will not tolerate their bullying. It is unfortunate that our position as Musketeers turns this incident into some form of newsworthy event. If the Lords need to finda need to rejoice, so be it, but I for one believe that this situation has no implications on the war in the South, unless the plague of the Crown has reached our peaceful haven, and invaded the minds of the Ergothians.

What some call 'guts', others call folly. Lord Maltar has offered the Ergothians a means of redemption. I advise them to seek it.

Greetings again Olympian Masses.

Especially all you who feel bored? You wana end the Board-em for good? Join the Rimmon Musketeers! Every turn brings excitement and intrigue. For details please contact Lord Maltar at"humakt2@aol.com" He's always happy to be flooded with mail from nebis. LOL...

Okay Okay onto politics of the month. The northern coast lights up again. As the Nation Of Ergoth flexes it's well built muscles. I know this is the first some NOE members have heard of the northern conquest of NOE I am sorry to be the first to inform you most alliance leaders let the members know what is occuring.

It is obvious in the past certain NOE leaders have used and dupped the NOE members in a great many ways. We in the Musketeers have tried to be a polite and friendly neighbor and even pay close to 1000 gold in taxes per turn to some of you. Your invasions on our lands are brazen and foolhardy. Even more so is your leaders reply to reason. While he may be gambling that we are too tied up with the war in the south fine but to be gambling with all your factions for a small taste of vegance seems a bit unwise. I personally know there are a few of you in NOE who are reasonable and fair players and some who are not happy with your monarchy. It is now time for you to speak up and overthrow the evil entitys that have thus far tried to opress and deny you of a fun exciteing and safe gamming enviorment. Those of this mind set are asked to contact Lord Maltar and discuss your personal view on this so we are not forced to aim at your entire alliance but instead at the evil opressores therin. Just because the head is rotten is no reason for an entire nation to be entralled in a war.

Lord Foul

PS:Further to the charges of certain LOC flame Kings that Lord Maltar is being a bit harsh True. The fact they dont mention is the several attempts at diffusing this problem privatly in many diffrent ways. All have been refused. So dont make this sound like first contact because it wasnt!

To the various and sundry upon Provinia

Methinks it rather typical that the Lady Eowyn, sometime mouthpiece for the Lords of the Crown, chooses to scoff at the Musketeer attempt at diplomacy in the recent Annuin/Port Royal invasion as some form of weakness. I find her attitude is a grand display of the entire mindset behind the ever-tarnished Crown. Wing & Talon have longtime held sway over our domain east of Greyfell, as we are one of the original 11 of Greyfell. We have had standing agreements with the lesser duchies on all our borders, including the small domain of Annuin/Port Royal, who we graciously bequeathed to one Random of Monotis many moons ago. Our fate led us to border agreements and then into formal alliance with the Rimmon Musketeers. The Nation of Ergoth acts with a swagger befitting an opportunist. The lands of the Greyfell region fell into relative anarchy with the dissolution of the ruling factions and the Ergothians assumed their self-titled role as rulers of Greyfell. Nary a diplomatic word has come from these rulers to those of us who wouldst consider Greyfell a free and peaceful domain, and whose borders figure prominently with those of the 'Nation'. A sizable yet unimposing stack has crossed Talon lands in an attempt to seize control of the 3-province castle at Annuin. Ergoth apparently holds the brash and childish posture that a free Greyfell means that *they* have the right to do as they please in the area. If *we* had had a similar mindset in the past, their current duchy would currently be Talon domain. We have tolerated, even welcomed, their presence, we will not tolerate their bullying. It is unfortunate that our position as Musketeers turns this incident into some form of newsworthy event. If the Lords need to find a need to rejoice, so be it, but I for one believe that this situation has no implications on the war in the South, unless the plague of the Crown has indeed reached our peaceful haven, and invaded the minds of the Ergothians. What some call 'guts', others call folly. Lord Maltar has offered the Ergothians a means of redemption. I advise them to seek it.

Rumors

No the Times is not boring.

Boring is when DragonLord gets going!

I was angry with my friend; I told my wrath, my wrath did end. I was angry with my foe; I told it not, my wrath did grow.

And I watered it in fears; Night and morning with my tears; And I sunned it with my smiles; And with soft deceitful wiles.

And it grew both day and night; 'Till it bore an apple bright; And my foe beheld it shine; And he knew that it was mine;

And into my garden stole; When the night had veiled the pole. In the morning glad I see; My foe outstretched beneath the tree.
