Greetings Olympian's, Well the Syr-Antin have established their new Kingdom on Provinia and finally can leave the wars of their Homeland far behind. We have an opportunity for a new player that wishes to have a town to study in and use for trade. The area is only good for a new faction starting in Greyfell and I do have a few rules in reference to what can be done in the area. Basically I don't want anyone to build a Castle obviously but all other structures are fine. I also don't want anyone selling opium or using the skill petty thievery as it will reduce my tax base. Apart from that they may build towers for study and temples for troop training or study in religion, an inn for some income, etc. The province is garrisoned by me and I will obviously protect it as such, if anyone raids along the coast I will defend it. I may also have some work for a few nobles from the chosen faction as time progresses but due to limited land in the area I cannot offer a future site for a castle as its a little tight here already. I can offer security as my neighbors are the TIBs and we have a good relationship. So if you are interested please mail me at Pozzie@hotmail.com for more info. Peace to you all.

Lee The Brave.....Syr-Antin

Rumors

The Vulture Speaks:

Hey, have you missed me? I've been circling over the huge PLATO army on Provinia, just waiting for the carnage to ensue. Only problem, no carnage. All those troops, just sitting there, killing only practice dummies with Sir Codric's face pasted on them. Come on boys, this huge flock of vultures flying overhead is getting hungry!

In the north, the Couchketeers seem to finally have finished the last sixer of cheap beer within reach and look to be on the move. The question is, where? Will they hit Atala and wipe those poor newbies settled there off the map, or will they intervene in the south, where Harn and the IC are getting chewed up and spit out by the surprisingly successful Codrickers? Maybe they'll do a PLATO and move into a province controlled by the enemy and sit there for a few months. We hope not, as each Couchketeer posterior can feed a hungry family of your local carrion birds for weeks!

You know, vultures aren't exactly renowned for honor or bravery, but compared to the actions of the Eaglets we are a bunch of Boy Scouts. PLATO and the Couchketeers at least have the decency not to hide behind their mother's tail feathers and secretly supply troops to one side or another in a war. Funny, I remember way back in Bird PE in junior high we vultures used to joke that although the eagles had beautiful plumage and proud beaks they seemed to have the tiniest little eggs. (It's a avian thing, if you don't get it ask your parakeet.)

Otherwise, things are getting interesting elsewhere. Rumor has it that the Jackal is getting ready to invade Ossicus, in partnership with the Ussun Bandits and Eric the Peacehawk's boys. No matter what, soon Lord Saggar will be giblet gravy for some happy vulture. I guess controlling four continents isn't enough for the TIBsters, they want them all. We keep wondering when you humans are going to wake up and realize who the real problem for you all is: not the Codrickers, not PLATO, not Eagle, not Harn, not the IC, and certainly not the Couchketeers. I'll give you a hint, it rhymes with fibs and that is what they are feeding the rest of you while they quietly take over the world.

Finally, a special message to Gerald Ossip of the Olympia Gossip Page: I'm going to stop denying that I'm actually The Tatooed Love Boy, since dorks like you refuse to believe me. I could just as easily claim that you are actually Oleg the Loudmouth, or that the Wraith is actually Eric the Peacehawk, or that Lord Angelo was Ming the Merciless, or that the Chruch of Egraal is actually a front for the New Empire, or...you get my point. However, you are right about one thing: Entwaidamela really is a girl.

Good eating to you all,

The Vulture

Pipo is a Lord of the Crown. I guess protestations of neutrality didn't get the Forest Green Sash folk too far with those wicked Belgians. And one hears that the LoTC is successful recruiting newbies? As what, snack foods?
