Important Annoucement from TIB: TIB Alliance lays claims to, roughly, the eastern half of the continent of Cipheria. This claim comes after negotiations with all known players on Cipheira, including the honorable House of Lords Alliance. All players known to be on Cipheria have agreed to general borders. It is our intention to firm up these borders within the next 2-3 turns, at which time final TIB borders will be announced and posted on our web site.
If there are any players CURRENTLY on Cipheria we ask that you please contact us or House of Lords and make your presence known. We do not wish to force out any player or faction that has rightful claim to land. But please be advised that if you now happen upon Cipheria, all land on it has been claimed by either TIB, HoL or other various independent factions. We will honor existing claims, but will hear none in the future.
Please contact us within 2 turns if you feel you have lawful claim to land.
Thank you in advance. May the Hand keep and protect you. Eric the Seehawk

Lord Jheremai was killed in single combat with his arch-foe Sir Codric this month in the woods outside Greton.
The Red God has smiled on his honourable death and his honourable foe..
According to his will the following decrees are to be executed.
1) The title Prince of Dragonsbane goes to Wacah Chan Most High Ahoub of Xibalba along with all the obligations and duties attendant with it.
2) The title Captain of the Red Archers is bestowed on Kerek Rakanir
3) The fief of Bobantium is vested in Lord Raphael of the Iron Hills in return for him providing rest and assistance in times of need for the Red Archers for all the days of his rule and his chosen succesors.
4) The Head of House Carnelian is by right of succession now Jheremai's half brother Borag Calfor. All aliegances previously owed to Jheremai as head of House Carnelian now are due to him. He is also by this right a duke of the Bobantine Empire and is to be allocated the fief of Sudshire. According to the Decrees of Khamath the House Carnelian is a Horselords clan by acclaim and Borag has the responsibilities of the Clan master.
5) The Red Archers confirm their contracts with the Bobantine Empire.
6) Aliestair Tanstagi is appointed as Grand Vizier of the Bobantine Empire.

Legends and old wives tales speak of the dreaded Beer Bong of Cornucopia - an incredibly powerful relic forged by the Gods of Olympia themselves, in the mists of Pure Chaos, long before time began. Any clue to it's current whereabouts, will be richly rewarded (read: I'll give you 500 gold, all the beer you can drink, and all the sheep you can shag). So if you know of the mighty Beer Bong and where I might find it, contact:

I am so goddamn tired of hearing about how the church of egraal sucks. Back it up with facts, you lamers. That, or destroy it. Or better yet, challenge the church to a duel in a public place. Just get on with it, for f***'s sake!
"I'm just not a people person" - quote commonly attributed to Charles Manson
To all truly evil dudes in Olympia:
Are you also fed up with seeing weaklings walking around unimpeded? We sure are. Join us in our holy quest to rid Olympia of new nobles - they are easy to spot, inexperien- ced in combat, and have no allies, so they can be killed quite easily without incurring any risk. And best of all: It's the wrong thing to do!
We have planned this quite carefully, and have come up with a *very* sneaky and underhanded Modus Operandi - one that will minimize personal risk and maximize per- sonal profit and gain! So what are you waiting for? Drop your resume off at: email@example.com. Do it now!
(We will of course run a background check on you, to en- sure that you are not a goody-good spoilsport.)

I am the Wraith To the imposter, repent and apologize publicly. I know who you are and I will send you to Thule if you don't. There are others guessing at my identity. You are all wrong. I won't sizzle your brain, though, as I am a mild-mannered individual.
My spooks have told me much news this week, but I don't want to be like the fat kid who has eaten all of his crackers. I will tell you that someone will drown in paint very soon now. It may not be who you think.
I am The Wraith Well I guess I ve made it and am now an official character in Olympia. Last week I had my first death threat and my first imitator! It s nice to be part of the in crowd.
To Anonymous Git: Where am I? Why, in Hades of course. Oh, sure, building structures down here is difficult, but not impossible. I d never claim to have completed a castle down here, oh dear me no! But it s nice to have a tower away from the hustle and bustle. Come on down and get me git. I d love the company.
And to the Wraith Pretender, I really have to laugh. I mean, I ve said all along that I aim to be correct only 50% of the time, so obviously there s no reason to try to discredit me. Why would somebody want to post a rumor to the Times and claim to be me? It doesn t anger me - heck - I m flattered! But I am perplexed by why anyone would do it. For anybody that cares, the message last week that began The Wraith is back for more! was a forgery. But, the predictions there were probably has factual as mine, so if you want to read it, go ahead. If you ever have a question about the veracity of a Wraith post you can always email me at WraithSociety@hotmail.com for verification.
On to new business; The north heats up, cools down, heats up, cools down....it s really quite annoying to us soothsayers! In the south you know what you re going to get. War. It s really quite easy to read the tea leaves down there. I envy the vulture.
The Musketeers appear to have finally had enough with all of this war stuff. It looks as if they are preparing to make a move. Of course the Musketeer High Command knows nothing about this. It appears to be a grass roots campaign from the outlying members. The High Seas will see a red tide soon enough.
The TIBS have finally had enough yanking around. It appears that they ve loaded up a couple of boats and plan to grab their next peaceful claim by force.
Finally, we all know about the most recent Plato invasion of Provinia, but what nobody s talking about is their moves further south. I m not sure who their neighbor is down there, but here s a big head s up! to them.
You can't spell "forgetfulness" without f-r-o-g.

Enough of these grassy fields! I want a grassy knoll so I can start killing people!
Yvengi is a louse!
Overheard in Cawode:
If my pal Mugsy was in this oven, would I turn on da gas and throw in a match, like this?
Ya' might rabbit, ya' might.
There can be no reconciliation where there is no open warfare. There must be a battle, a brave boisterous battle, with pennants waving and cannon roaring, before there can be peaceful treaties and enthusiastic shaking of hands.
How about all the major players and alliances posting a message here in the Times summarizing their claims? It would let me know who I'm offending when I build my unauthorized castle.
The siege of Greton drags on from the depths of winter through the Harvest season. Who will blink first?
When the assault is finally launched there is going to be some serious bloodshed, that is for certain.

My Dear Vulture and Crew
Sorry, But I thought you made a request (see NL#68) I apparently was mistaken. I can now see you were only mindlessly rambling. As I should have realized by reading your rumors. If you must fly by some time I'm certain the Elite Archers on guard atop the paraphets will appreciate the practice

The hugely successful Operation Thorn draws to a close, as it is estimated that Snowwhite will be put to a final rest next turn. Elsewhere in the sector Therek fought one Dove Falconhand and captured some loot. Unfortunately the fine duke survived two battles and one execution.

Church of Eggroll Post:
A message for our little friend, Octavious,
Your chapter on "Tempering by Fire" was cute, but you know not what fire we will bring. Please continue your studies, for when we eat your brains (with a little ratspider venom and msg), we will savor the taste of Egraal's few blessings on you.
Your days are numbered on our menu.

We thought we had seen dragons in the sky near Yellowleaf. But it was only eagles flying in pack. I don't know which should be stranger. A careful observer

Yellowleaf is boring! Is that because I am new and need to explore of what?
