Don't give Barry credit for my doings. Hope you enjoyed the tea party as much as you did the sugar. Courtesy of ...

Greetings fellow freedom fighters!

Yes, the 130 issue of the Times is crucial.

However, for this guerrilla phase of the war, you may wish to consider having five kinds of units:

controlled monsters: these sit in castles & gather money. Give them your soldiers. They're expendable in this dragon-filled age.

Breeders: These should be in hidden inner locations breeding dragons or what have you. We'll bring these out when we've weakened the AOO enough (i.e. think long term).

Stealthy delivery: have a stealthy noble run about collecting the money from the controlled monsters, distributing healing potions, & the like, among your various hidden locations. There is little reason you have for presenting a noble id anywhere in a location report, except for hidden locations. Don't give the AOO easy information with which to track your nobles. Don't put too many nobles in any one hidden location, in case you screw up or in case the AOO has one of your noble ids from earlier turn reports.

Feeder magi: have these produce & distribute aura & farcast potions & speedcast potions. Have priests gathering visions so you don't accidently aura blast some dude with absorb aura blast.

attack magi: these must have:

conceal self aura blast absorb aura blast

& preferably: a drop list oath-2 transcend death (just in case).

The attack magi & the controlled creatures are the only easy targets you present. It's very tough to ferret out your boys in those hidden locations.

The controlled monsters really aren't worth the enemy's effort to stomp & since soldiers are pretty much irrelevant, money's not very important. The attack magi, by moving often, is virtually impossible for the enemy to find. Transfer aura to the attack magi whenever you get enough & give the AOO as good as you've gotten. Make sure the attack magi never enters your hidden locations & that the AOO can't track your other nobles through her. She's the key.

That's the basics of guerrilla warfare. Olympia has changed a great deal since the slaughter began. But with a little courage & pluck, we may pull their beards yet.

Still taunting & aura blasting the Ancient Order of the Odious,

I am, Desdinova

A charge that is worthy of a song!

Well, my last ally is dropping, but I'm having a blast down here in my little kingdom. Is there anyway to form a non-aggression pact with the AOO? I'll acknowledge your victory, or whatever. Please just let me keep having fun.

TIA, a little king
