To my accounting, 1 dragon = 1.636 giant birds.
1 dragon = 1.9166 giant spiders.
If you can capture 2 giant spiders in the six days it takes you to
breed a dragon--never mind breeding losses--you're better off.
They're the economy size, but not the be-all end-all.
