I also like the region system and don't want to lose the feel of the game as
being many regions spread out in different ways...not just a bunch of adjacent
hexes everywhere.

I also like the idea of having an 'inside' of a castle or tower or whatever.
The general public really shouldn't be able to see who is inside those buildings
unless the occupants want them to. One would have to actually enter to see the
real inhabitants.

The idea of having forests and such in a region is a good idea. A town would
still have it's outlying areas being forest, desert, etc. A town is not so big
as to encompass a whole regional area. A city...maybe, but not by much. I had
always thought that the concept of region that is in use now would mean a pretty
sizable region as to possibly encompass a city, a castle, the countryside, etc..

Just my opinion on these matters.
