Description

A new ship has arrived in the Triangle area of the Beta Quadrant. The Triangle, that area of unclaimed space that sits between the borders of Federation, Klingon, and Romulan space. Unclaimed, means ungoverned, uncontrolled territory. The perfect place for smugglers, pirates and other ne'er-do-wells to set up shop and conduct their illicit activities, after all, who is going to come after them? With civil war raging inside the borders of the Klingon Empire, they likely aren't going to be bothering much with the Triangle. The Romulans? With the loss of Romulus and Remus, as well defections of Romulan ships and crews to the Federation, they have their hands full watching things inside their own territory. Who really then will bother these criminals? The USS Devonshire, that's who.

The Devonshire serves as the flagship of Task Force 99 XO Commodore Graham Cantos. A man who loves to be in the middle of the action, whatever it may be. He and the Devonshire's crew are routinely along the border looking for anything out of the ordinary and working to stop the rampant piracy in the area. Whether it's interdicting pirates, assisting an ailing colony or repairing a merchant ship after a pirate attack, the Devonshire strives to be a beacon in the darkness surrounding the Triangle.

The Devonshire is a brand new simulation with only two positions filled currently, meaning everything else is open for those willing to step up and claim their place in the history books. With her modular saucer construction, she can swap modules in and out in hours to fit the mission profile. With an embarked Marine Air Wing and embarked Marine Ground Force, her load of modules and proud crew, there's little that the Devonshire can't, or for that matter won't, get into.
