DescriptionPlay By Forum game of The Hunters: German U-Boats at War, 1939-43. We are currently in our first campaign of it. If you are interested but don't have a copy, the Vassal Mod is posted in the forums. The only cost is to purchase the game itself, if you would prefer you can download the game for free from Vassal which is linked on the forums as well.
We post a minimum of one patrol a week, every Sunday, and running until Saturday at Midnight your time. To keep the game moving along, if I receive all but one patrol log, I will post the following months but keep the patrol open for the last patrol log.
We are using a combination of Berry's Historical Rules, and the official game rules, but we are still feeling out the best way to make the Play By Forum work and all input is considered by those playing.
If you are interested, we are keeping it where new crews can join at any time. If a crew is lost your total tonnage will be reset for the campaign to allow players to keep playing should they be killed or captured.
Currently a discussion is taking place about weather or not to continue onto The Hunted, following 1943 (which is still a ways away as we are currently in January of 1940.)
