The 509th Virtual Bomb Group for Avalon Hill's B-17 Queen of the Skies will be starting our fifth campaign on Sunday November 1st 2015. We fly one mission a week, posted on Sunday and running until Midnight your time on Saturday. A campaign runs roughly 25 weeks. Using a combination of house rules that have been agreed upon by the existing members, most of which are still considered to be optional. And the 15th Air Force Rules out of the General Magazine (also posted on the forums) If you don't have a copy of B-17 and want to play I also linked the Vassal mod (which is free)

When you join, you will be placed into one of the bomber squadrons, the bomber squadrons are used to determine if you fly high, middle or low. With the Middle squadron providing one bomber to fly lead, and the low squadron providing one bomber to fly tail.

All of the mission information is posted in the initial mission brief at the start of the week, your squadrons position, the mission gazetteer, the fighter cover, the flak, and any mission specific rules.

If you are interested we would love to have you join us, as we currently have openings in all three squadrons. Even if you can't join this week, you can join at anytime over the course of the campaign.

Played the game? You can send me comments to be placed on this page by writing lindahl@pbm.com. But don't write me attempting to join the game -- write the GM, whose address is above.

Are you the GM? You can update your listing by writing lindahl@pbm.com. If you have something new to say about your game, for example an opening for new players, you can create an announcement for your game.

Don't see your favorite game? Then you can add an entry for it.
