Description

1772 Northern Scotland

From ghoulies and ghosties And long-leggedy beasties And things that go bump in the night, Good Lord, deliver us!

All is has not be well at Glenkirk, the ancestral seat of the MacDonalds of Glenkirk. In the village, bairns and dogs have started to go missing. Shepherds are vanishing, with nary a trace, leaving their sheep behind. Fishermen, out on the Loch have sailed out in the morning, and by noon their boats have floated to shore, empty, save for their catch.

As if this weren't bad enough, gnawed human bones have been showing up on doorsteps, kirk pews and in the morning porridge. Worse of all, Mara MacDonald, wee bairn of the Laird, can not be found. Her Da, Seumas MacDonald has offered a grand sum of five hundred pounds for her return. Now from across Scotland, and lands beyond, adventurers, profiteers and those who prey upon the like have descended!

------------------------

This is an ADULT freeform role-playing game. You must be eighteen years old to join this group. It is rated ADULT for graphic scenes of a sensuous nature, violence and language, but we do not allow adult scenes involving animals or minors. We need adventurers, townsfolk, craftsmen, farmers, scallywags, writers, clansmen, priests and gypsies, but your primary character MUST be eighteen years old, or older.

While this does not take place in the world of Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean, you can use that as a general reference for what you might find in this world and for ideas about costuming and technology. This is not a historically accurate game, though we will try, so leave your Masters in History at the door, and fave fun.
