DescriptionAlternate 1939 is a highly abstract role-playing based nation sim that begins in an alternate version of 1939. Players get to 'design' their own country's history from the end of the Great War to the start of 1939, so long as their creation fits in the context of realism. In this way it is hoped that we are able to enjoy the best of both worlds, the pleasure of player creativity without the inevitable annoying unrealistic absurdities! Will Germany end up being ruled by Hitler? Who won the Russian Civil War? Do the Turks dream of re-establishing the Ottoman Empire? You decide!
