DescriptionWhen mankind looked out into the stars, looked up from their little blue pearl, they wondered: Is there there anybody else? Another spot of light among those blurred bright shadows dotting the night sky? Another race?Looking up as they did? One as curious as mankind itself? As unique? As ... dangerous? The year is 2298 and mankind has found their answer. Even more so, they have become the most powerful superpower in the galaxy. But corruption is ripe behind the facades of society. Players take the roles of members on the UNS Babylon, an exploration vessel scouting the rim of the galaxy. This allows you to contribute your part to the universe and add your own original concepts, races and worlds to the mix. This is the concept of an "open universe", one which players actively help to create from the foundation that has been laid. If you want to become part of a SIMM that encourages and supports players' ideas for grand storylines, or simply wish to play a SIMM that is 'not Star Trek', this might be the place for you!
