Description

Al Amarja is calling you. Over the Edge takes place on the mythical(?) island of Al Amarja in the Mediterranean Sea. Character creation is easy and can be completed with few exchanges. Several players will be playing along the same time line, if not the same story. Though the game takes place in modern times, there are significant societal/ culture/ economic differences from Al Amarja and the rest of the world, so be prepared for anything. Every conspiracy you've ever heard, every government cover-up, every story you've ever heard about mind-controlling satellites, UFOs, vampires, werewolves, superheroes, or any other thing you though was impossible is happening somewhere on this island. Some of it openly and with no apologies. Maybe your character is a woodworker from Tulsa, OK. Maybe she is a ballerina in a Russian dance troupe. Or perhaps he is the real Green Lantern, trying to seek solace from the world, or seeking the root of all evil. Character choice runs the gamut. Angels, demons, superheroes, bubblegum salespeople, shape-shifters, ghosts, extraterrestrials, clones, and, well, any character you might pull from a novel or movie that could somehow fit into the isles of the modern Mediterranean Sea. Plot lines will be played in scenes and acts for some, with prologue and epilogue (if applicable), and for some it will be noted as prologue, chapters, epilogue (if applicable). I will be using the Irony Games die roller. I may ask that you roll over from the IG site, but any roller that I am able to use and can be checked for authenticity should be fine. If this sounds like something you'd like to try send me an e-mail and we'll begin the character creation process.
