DescriptionCome join the Longest Running Sim in 14th Fleet! Tempest: - (noun) 1. a violent commotion or disturbance, or tumult. 2. a storm or a violent wind. Also: a play by Shakespeare. The USS Tempest, is a conglomeration of the above. We create our own commotions, our own disturbances and our own plays. We draw upon the great wealth of StarTrek lore, combined with our own experiences and creativity, to draft our adventures on the USS Tempest and within the ranks of the 14th Fleet (www.14th.org). The Tempest is an Excelsior class starship and home to our Star Trek-based PBeM (Play By eMail) simulation/role-playing game. As of January 2007, the year we play in is 2392, roughly seventeen years after the Dominion Wars. For the most part, we, as part of the 14th Fleet, follow 'StarTrek canon'.
