Description

After a brief and glorious civil war, the land of Odrium is under new management. The new King has given you one of four fiefs, trusting in your ingenuity and leadership to control your Dukedom while he concerns himself with his own land. But those who win power at the tip of a sword can lose it just as easily, and a wise vassal always prepares for the downfall of his lord.

Take control of one of four Dukedoms in Odrium. This game will be a relatively free-form political wargame. Political intrigue, armies, and economics will all be necessary to stay afloat in the turmoil. The possibilities are endless; no hard-and-fast rules exist. If you want to start a business, invent a technology, or explore a new land, simply convince the GM that it's possible, and then make it work!

Free-form and literary are two important aspects. GM is influenced by Tolkien, Orson Scott Card, Terry Pratchett, and standard fantasy norms. Turns represent one month, and will happen every week, on average. As many sub-plots and machinations as you have time for will be allowed. Spelling and punctuation very highly valued. Game starting soon.
