DescriptionWelcome to Star Trek : Infinity, a Play By Email Role-Playing Game (PBEM RPG) based in the Star Trek universe. 2380 is a precarious age; Three years after the return of the USS Voyager and with no major conflicts since the end of the Dominion War at a glance the universe seems to be cooperating and working within agreed peace treaties and trade agreements. There is, however, a restless underbelly that could threaten the hard won harmony. Philosophers have always said that any utopia was the work of fiction as one man's paradise is another man's hell. Starfleet, undaunted by the undercurrents in the galaxy or perhaps because of them, is continuing its role of scientific exploration, expanding its borders and voyaging once more into the unknown. The USS Relentless and the USS Horizon are spearheading the new exploration, making allies (and enemies) as they go. The USS Relentless and USS Horizon have undergone numerous modifications and upgrades. Acting as a 'First Contact' and 'Deep Space Explorer' vessel, the crew of the USS Relentless is comprised of some of Starfleet's finest. Often following in the wake of the Relentless, the USS Horizon has been tasked to explore new planets and civilizations. Away from Starbases for extended periods, her crew is also made up of some of Starfleet's most highly recommended personnel. |
