DescriptionSection 47 is a PBeM RPG. Based in 2390, after the Dominion war, the galaxy is largely at peace. The site is run by a democratic council of 9 members. In addition to the RPG, ranks are gained by playing the weekly star trek based trivia. With over 150 members, Section 47 is a very active environment. We have ship's that serve all levels of activity from people who want to post infrequently, to those who want to post more than once a day. Section 47 was founded by Starfleet on May 7, 2386 (Stardate 86.0507; post-Voyager). Its function is to provide the Federation with a fleet of ships for exploratory purposes, scientific research, diplomatic missions and, if needed, defensive tasks. All ships that are part of Section 47 have been built at the Omicron Shipyard in the Selah system. Starbase 47 serves as the headquarters of the Section. Section Admiral Tettares Hepta was assigned as the first commanding officer (CO) of Section 47. Since then, Section 47 has gone through several command transitions. On Stardate 890928, Duke Nova became the new Section Admiral. Section 47 is enjoying a relatively peaceful time and is constantly expanding as well as developing new technologies and making great scientific advances.
