Since turn 1 peace has reigned in and around Greyfell and the area has been a true safe haven for newbies and older factions alike. That peace was broken last turn when combat between two factions occured for the first time ever in this region. I have strived to allow free passage and free exploitation of resources throughout my lands and maintain peaceful coexistance with the major alliances which ajoin my lands. The offending party will be dealt with harshly and swiftly and all peoples can be assured that travel will once again be safe. I regret that this unfortunate incident occured and ask that the faction which was attacked please contact me so that I may offer any assistance that may be needed.

Yours in peace, Drakyn

In need of more troops or a second flank? How about an armed escort through hostile wilderness or dangerous waters? Then contact "The Bortherhood of the Red God" (The BoRG), and for a modest fee we can send an escort by caravan on land or via ship in dangerous waters. In general we are swords for hire and for the right price, will attack almost any target. Please visit our web site at www.geocities.com/TimesSquare/1843/borg.html or contact us at asgardian@bigfoot.com

May the Red God smile upon you

Rumours of my death while perfectly true have been greatly exaggerated.

My honourable foe Sir Codric and the Lords of the Crown have seen fit to call on the Will of Egraal and summon my fading spirit back to the lands of Olympia. My thanks to them and to the Church of Egraal for their part in my return.

It is also good to know somethings have not changed in my absence. Immediately after my resurection my savior left the temple in Toppe in the heart of the Lords lands where the rite was conducted. He was immediately ambushed by a magical assassin who appeared out of nowhere with many armed henchmen and captured my benefactor and caused much chaos and anarchy before dissapearing. Ahh it is good to be home!

While I was 'away' I was visited by a vision of the Red God. He chastised me for taking temporal power in Olympia in my own name. He reminded me that my House has always served as mercenaries and warrior-captains but as followers of the Red One we have shunned the making of Empire in our own name. He told me that my downfall was caused through the hubris of taking over the Bobantine Empire after the demise of Lord Bob and he hoped I had learnt the lesson.

I have.

From this day forth I will stay true to the Path of the Red God and only make war in other's names and not for my self.

May the Red God watch over you

A meeting is an event where minutes are kept and hours are lost.

Well the armies of Nosral and Bane are outside my castle and this turn looks like the make or break for the Syr-Antin. From inside we can hear the thundering hooves of his Elite Guard and hear the shouts of his ground troops as they muster to the banner. Looking over the parapets, peering through the settling dust of the desert, we see 120 or more Guardsmen reigning in horses, and behind Banes 60 elite archers test their arrows and oil their bow strings. A murmur runs through my men and our TIB allies as we consider out forces. Slowly the last of Banes troops move into position and we are relieved to see all he has aprt from his elites is 60 or so pikemen. We laugh at this folly, surely this man has no military knowledge at all. We have watched him march his troops in the wrong direction and get stuck in one of our traps, a trip which should have taken a few months has taken him a year, and now he arrives to attack with some pitiful pikemen as his only supporting groud troops. Akodo and Lee the Brave evaluate again their defences. With our 400 ground troops, 200 missile troops and 125+ trained beasts, with dragons flying out of sight above the clouds, we shake hands and turn back to our enemy, smiles in place and minds clear for the carnage about to occur. If we lose this day the gods never intended for us to win, and we will meet our makers with open arms. Peace is but a fleeting memory for us now. May our sword arms never tire and our arrows find the many marks before us.

I will report on the battle next turn and wish everyone the best in case I am no more.

Lee The Brave.....Syr-Antin

Yvengi is a louse! - Freddy the Wonder Mule

"Newbies should contact LotC for safe passage or stay in the safe haven." (Like hamburgers ought to stay on the grill - right, Codrickie?)

Lee the Brave faces the troops of the evil Lord Bane and soon the stormclouds of war will break and engulf the lands of Greyfell. Is Lord Bane a Muskateer? How do the other Greyfell Lords stand on this? Is the Wing and Talon on the march as well? Is Lord Bane related to Lord Foul? (They both have similar unimaginative names)

Does anyone care?

I don't

Boy the Times is boring since the Harnies got stomped.

Where is the big Mouth from the South?

PS Bring back Vulture. The talkative one not the psycho

Funny how the Grand Council got real quite once everyone in it was involved in some war. They seem to like to poke their nose into other people's business but do not want the snoopers in their backyard "police actions"

King's will be King's and peasent will get squashed. That is life.

Maddog and Vulture - it looks like your association with each other has effected your intelligence. A suggestion to you and yours. Stay away. Stay far, far away.

It's quiet out there, too quiet.

Yes, the Lords of the Crown certainly appear to be a misunderstood lot. Quite a lot, really. Here is a fractional listing of who these people are:

So if the Eagles are really gathering to take on this "poor little alliance", think again, boys and girls. This is a Behemouth, with interior lines of communications and offshore weapons suppliers. There are over 200NPs accounted for up there, and this is only a partial listing of their _Provinian_ nobles. Attack them, and you're plucked, Eagles.
