-- The Crazy Quilters [vn7]

The Elder One was displeased at the faithlessness of the true believers. As he spake a crimson dew began to ooze from the pores of the impure and tainted followers. Their perspiring doubt cascaded into torrents of lamentation as they began to sink in the foulest blood mud at their feet. With increasing disgust He tormented the untrue until one by one their hearts burst and geysers of heme showered those who stood true. With the weakness purged from the gathering, the rite of initiation proceeded...

Customer Testamonial on behalf of the First Bank of Provinia

Greetings, Provinians! My name's Jech Ercheflo the Friendly Thin Guy. I'm a Trader. I travel Provinia buying and selling and trading everything from the highest grade avinia leaf to the cheap woven baskets that I buy off of broke lowlifes in Imperial City. Provinia is not always as friendly and peaceful as me. So, I don't like carrying large amounts of cash on a trade run, if you know what I mean. That's why I bank at First Provinia: low-interest loans, high interest rates, newbie bonuses, warehouse facilities, shipping services... What else could you ask for?

So take it from me, Jech Ercheflo the Friendly Thin Guy, don't wind up lying in the gutters of Imperial City weaving baskets. Give the the First Bank of Provinia a call. You'll be glad you did.

Rumors

The month is 98, the month the great war came upon us all.

One more time, I fear -- it is g'bye to the South.

I vote that the new alliance name should be The Secret Times.

Elvis is dead. Long live Elvis.

I Asked: > Does the Answer Guy exist?

Not in turns when the only question asked is about what to breed with what to get what. If you want to find out what you get if you breed an aardvark with a zebra, try it and find out.

How come Answerman has all the answers?

What is the difference between being a member of the LC and putting your hand down Dolly Parton's bra? You feel a bigger tit being a member of the LC.

Hey Answer Guy! Me and a few of the boys want to come and have a "talk" with you. So answer me this: Where can we find you?

Fear a sorcerer's storm.

Pennies for the poor!

Not just anybody!

To c. factions: MAFOC revenge on turn 100.

How time has changed! I must depend on this meager payment again.

" BRAINS!!!!... I need more BRAINS!!!....... "

MAFOC bites the dust. One left to go. dum de dum....

Ah, but which one, that's the real trick.

Phew, that's a relief! I thought that the huge losses and mass defection of your allies might have damaged your sense of humour.

Are there any friendly alliances in this game? AOO and Liberty Confed guy need not respond.

"I'd rather die than give you control."

Some say there is a new tribe in town. No one knows whether they will trade or conquer all.

I hereby pledge my undying fealty to the Great Unnamed Alliance. I will faithfully blow the GUA's horn in every Times henceforth, without fail. I promise to say nice things about every member of GUA, particularly the ones I don't know about.

Where have all the Chatan gone, long time passing? Where have all the Chatan gone, long time ago?

As the Greater Demons gather round the camp fire they glanced at the Necromancer and looked at the neclace.

Dont worry he murmured, no-one will steal it there isnt a skill for it. Shame really.

Get your programs here, can't tell the good guys from the bad guys without a program.

The Answer Guy Asked: What 'wait turn xx' command? It's not mentioned in the rules that I just ftp'd from pbm.com.

It was added and noted in the Times a few turns back, and promptly led to a rerun when the whole WAIT command broke. It's for those farseeing souls who find writing orders for one turn at a time too simple to amuse them.
