DescriptionKingdoms is a fantasy play by email game. It includes military, economy, diplomacy and a spell system. Units move simultaneously and detect other units depending on skills and situation. When hostile units move next to each other, combat takes place. Fighting is very complex and lots of factors are taken into account. On the other hand there are peaceful settler units that improve the empire by building roads, farms, irrigations and towns. Production takes place in towns when workers are sent to the surrounding areas and produce basic commodity like wood, stone, etc. These basic commodities are then used for the production of weapons, armours, catapults and such items within the town. All commands are given by a graphical client. The client supports sending turns to the host of the game by email and also receiving a turn directly. Special features: - accelerated start: each player can host the first x turns separately; this has to be defined by the host of the game. Such 'split games' are merged after x turns. - Units define themself by their skills and equipment. Spearmen for example would be able to change to swordmen for example. - Units can investigate ruins and chests and find artifacts of different use - 7 different spell areas: movement, elements, necromancy, etc - a global market where players can trade with each other and units like elven or dwarven soldiers are auctioned. Furthermore leaders can be hired here. - leaders are in charge of towns and modify the production
