Description

Gibraltarian Overall Amateur League, better known as G.O.A.L. G.O.A.L is a play by email soccer management game which uses the MSWL software created by Allan Sellers to simulate the matches. G.O.A.L possibly the only game of its kind to come from Gibraltar is in fact the original MSWL spin-off league and run first in 1996 for two seasons and has now restarted for a second time.

In the game players take over a soccer club and try to win the league by every week picking a team to play against a rival team. Team managers have to pick eleven players every match, choose a formation, tactics and substitutions. They have to choose which players to coach and occasionally try to sign new players in auctions.

The game is completely free so if you wish to take part download the rules from the webpage and give them a read. If your understand them and wish to take part email me with your name and email address to be added to the waiting list were you will be notified if any teams become available when managers leave the game or when new teams have to be created when the league increases in size. You may also wish to download the reports to have an idea what to expect when taking part.

Played the game? You can send me comments to be placed on this page by writing lindahl@pbm.com. But don't write me attempting to join the game -- write the GM, whose address is above.

Are you the GM? You can update your listing by writing lindahl@pbm.com. If you have something new to say about your game, for example an opening for new players, you can create an announcement for your game.

Don't see your favorite game? Then you can add an entry for it.
