DescriptionWhat is Big Sky Football? Big Sky Football is an online, multiplayer, American football simulator. The community is friendly and happy to help with new players: all would be welcome even if you have very little American football knowledge. How does it work? You run your own franchise in a league with 32 other players. Each game week is processed on a Friday, and during the game week you set your game plan, scout players who you may want to draft, coach your existing players, and engage with the community through prediction competitions or game comments. Each season, playoffs, the Bowl, and a draft happen, as well as ageing, where your players lose or gain levels. What does "Big Sky" mean? The Big Sky was one of the six leagues in Gridiron3. Each was alphabetically named (Atlantic, Big Sky, Continental etc.). As another group is working on a project called Gridiron4 (and do check them out at Gridiron4.org), I have chosen this name as a tribute to the league that gave me so many years of happiness and so many real life friends. Big Sky Football has nothing to do with the college football association, and makes no claim to anything to do with it. We simulate professional football and do not have a college component. |
