DescriptionAt the edge of Victorian era... a group of dedicated writers who share a passion for historical eras, romance, scandal, power struggles and rebellion! Our PBEM is a collaborative storytelling experience. No dice, no stats, just richly developed character profiles. Together, we write immersive stories set in 1834 London, shaped by creativity, interaction, and historical atmosphere. 1834 As the Georgian era draws to a close and the Victorian age looms on the horizon, England stands at a crossroads of tradition and progress. Society is alive with grand parties, glittering ballrooms, where wit and charm are as valuable as wealth and title. The ambitious fight for a place within it and the restless dream of escape. Beneath the elegance lies a harsher reality. Scandals threaten reputations, fortunes rise and fall, and not all rebellions are fought with swords. For some, survival depends on secrecy; for others, on breaking free from rigid expectations. The struggles of the working class or the shadows of London's underworld, every path is shaped by ambition, desire, and the ever-changing tides of history. Aristocracy ▶️ Titled peers Upper Gentry ▶️ Baronets, knights, wealthy landed gentry Professional Class ▶️ Doctors, lawyers, naval officers, teachers, enginners, etc. Merchant Class ▶️ Business owners, wealthy tradesmen Working Class ▶️ Laborers, artisans, musicians, artists Servant Class ▶️ Domestic staff Marginalized / Underworld ▶️ Criminals, outcasts, prostitutes, fortune teller, etc. In this world of contrasts, where tradition clashes with progress, where do you stand?
