Description

The USS Viking represents a return to the core values of Trek - the exploration of space and the exploration of the self - by focusing less on vast interstellar conspiracies and conflicts and instead embracing our roots through scientific investigation and a focus on missions that are fun and interesting but also morally challenging and intellectually stimulating.

We are an international, inclusive, community-oriented group that accepts people from all walks of life in the belief that diversity brings a wide range of unique experiences and viewpoints that only serve to make our stories better. The USS Viking is an LGBT-friendly simulation.

We will soon be embarking on our first mission - "Bloom" - to the uninhabited planet Rugeline-V3 in the Dytalla System, where sensor data shows life is developing at exponential rates that exceed expected evolutionary patterns. We encourage you to visit our site to learn more about the ship's philosophy and its talented and diverse crew, and we welcome you to join us as we explore the galaxy together!

There is currently a priority on recruiting a Chief Flight Control Officer and Chief Counselor. All assistant department head positions are open, and we will need more science staff to help investigate the situation on Rugeline-V3.
