Description

In times of danger, in times of crisis, in times of strife, sometimes the peace needs what Edmund Burke called "rough men", who "stand ready in the night to visit violence on those who would harm us".

We are those rough men, guarding the frontiers of the Federation. We are the protecting Lion. We are USS Jerusalem. Join us.

---

We're a Theta Fleet sim (playing via Nova 2) set in March 2392 along the Romulan Neutral Zone, and we're an Ascension-class carrier, which means we feature not just an air group of fighter pilots, but also a company of Marine infantry. In our continuity, the Hobus Supernova never happened, and the Romulan Star Empire is intact and a real threat. We're rated 18+, meaning you must be at least 18 to play, in order for us to explore the realities of war and combat (in language and violence, not sex, thanks).

We're just starting out, but we fully plan to do way more than combat - we can do humanitarian relief, diplomacy (well, a forceful sort of diplomacy), recon and intelligence gathering, some close-to-home exploration, maybe even the odd (ICly unplanned, probably) first contact. Research proposals (plot ideas) are being accepted for scientific research, too! We're not really your average Star Trek sim, though (we aim to be a mix of, as I (the GM) put it once, "Star Trek, modern military sci-fi, spy thrillers, early Tom Clancy and similar technothrillers, sea stories like the Aubrey-Maturin series of Patrick O'Brian, and some odds and ends, all put into a blender"), so be aware of that.

You can contact us via our contact form, just off the main page at http://jerusalem.rpgs-r.us/, and we promise to get back to you within 48 hours.
