Description

Mass Effect: LEGACY is a PBeM (Play-By-E-mail) Role Playing game based upon Mass Effect video game series created by Bioware and EA. This is a community-run forum for writers who enjoy immersive writing in the Mass Effect universe; this board is in no way, shape, or form part of the official Mass Effect brand. This group is for enthusiastic writers who have come together from all over the world to keep Mass Effect alive; this site is for entertainment purposes only; no money is made off this website. This group does not claim any ownership of the name Mass Effect; Mass Effect is a trademark of Bioware and Electronic Arts.

What is LEGACY about?

Mass Effect: LEGACY follows the adventures of an original group of characters not previously seen in the games. The setting is the year 2185, following the events of Sovereign & Saren and the destruction of the Normandy SR-1. Shepard is almost fully revived by Cerberus, and the journey he and his crew are set to embark has yet to begin. This is not their story. A different crew, a different purpose, will embark onto the stars, and their legacy will change the shape of future events.

LEGACY has a group of creative writers who write for original characters within the Mass Effect universe. No player will write for Shepard, Tali, or Liara. Mass Effect canon characters, for the most part, are not portrayed here. Instead, players create a completely unique character to write for using alien races and Mass Effect game classes to tell a story that does not directly interact with the storyline of the game. Do you have what it takes to be an original character in Mass Effect?
