Description

Pack RPG is a non-canon superhero PBEM that takes place in the fictional city of Steel Lake, Michigan.

Shortly after the second world war stories began popping up from all over the world about mysterious `metahumans', Steel Lake soon had many stories of its own. Due to its location and established shipping industry, Steel Lake became a point where `metahumans' were either entering or leaving America. With the boom in illegal human smuggling, other criminal enterprises took root; drugs, prostitution, and gun running. All with different factions of the underworld vying for a bigger piece of the pie. The once prosperous city had begun to rot from the inside out.

Yet, there is a glimmer of hope. Some of the metahumans stayed in Steel Lake, hoping to change it for the better. Fed up with only gaining minor victories while the criminal organizations flourished, Several of the metahumans began working together as The Pack and they are determined to save the city.

Other Information: -New players are moderated initially so we can get a feel for their writing style and abilities. -One of the biggest rules in the game is that real life comes first. If you're not able to post for a month, just let the mods know and we'll work around it. We all live busy lives and this is a hobby, no extra stress needed. - We value and promote good RPing and fun over power gaming and are generally self governing. - Moderators have plans for story arcs that will cover the next few years, but are very open to suggestions and feedback to add to the story, allowing players the choice of actively shaping the world or just going along for the ride. Part of this involves taking on a 'co-writer' to work with the moderators to shape an individual arc.
