DescriptionThe USS Asgard is on her way to adventure and the quest for knowledge. We are a Norway class which is a Destroyer type vessel. However the Norway is an Explorer and not a true ship of war. To be sure we have teeth and we will engage in all manners of mayhem. What the Norway offers is a chance to be creative and live in luxury as you cross the stars. The Norway has the best accommodations of any ship in the fleet. We are a small crew and everyone is important. I am her Captain, and as a long time table top gamer I feel it is imperative that everyone be involved and work together. Since we are not heavily armed we shall have to be clever. Since we are not overly fast we shall endeavor to be sneaky when it is necessary. We will be searching space anomalies such as Nebulae to see what is there amidst the swirling clouds. So that is us, if you enjoy writing, because you will be expected to write at least two mid length post a month. If you enjoy working with others, because you will be expected to work as part of a team to accomplish our ship goals. We offer good, interesting stories with many themes. We use a movie style format so we have action and romance in each Mission with several subplots among various characters. We will make bad guys to beat up, so the crew is expected to make every attempt to get along. Not that everyone will be friends, but as in any enclosed group open aggression against any other crew member will never be tolerated. We are new at the moment, a member of the Obsidian Fleet, Task Force 21, Task Group 21A. A well established fleet with ship types for just about any tastes. So if Exploration is not your thing and you wish combat check the fleet. We have Carriers, Cruisers and other races such as Romulan and Klingon ships. Even a free trader for those who wish to be independent from the Fleets discipline.
