Description

The USS Enterprise NCC-1701-B PbEM RPG is looking to fill key roles. Most department head positions are still available.

I'm looking for players to fill standard positions first; then I'll start filling out the other slots. I'm not looking for fighter pilots or marines at this point; they usually end up just wandering around with little to do and the player gets discouraged. That isn't to say that I'm against having them. If you really want to play one of these, submit a strong character and a good concept for how he/she will fit in, and how you envision the character to be played and used.

In spite of the incident that cost the life of Admiral James T. Kirk, Captain Harriman served out the rest of his career on board the Enterprise with distinction until his retirement in 2311.

The Enterprise was refitted and in 2312, the center-seat was given to an up and coming officer with a promising future - The newly promoted Captain Jonathan Royce.

A state of cold-war continues between the Federation and the Klingon and Romulan Star Empires. The opportunities are wide open. New enemies and alliances will be made, new worlds discovered, and new friendships and bonds formed.

For this RPG we will be using E-Mail. We will not be using Yahoo! Groups, BBS, or Nova. E-mail posts will be sent directly between the players. This will allow those using smart phones to more easily respond, since the other alternatives don't work equally, or sometimes at all, on smart phones and tablet computers. Joint Posts can be worked on between the players involved, then sent to everyone in the group. Periodically I will gather them up and paste them into Chapters and Books on the web site, with credit going to the appropriate authors in the color of the department of the primary character. I know that this is olde school and not cutting edge technology, but I've tried them all and run into various problems with each of them.
