Description

In the wake of the Iron Age of Heroes in which capes were declared vigilantes, and forced to retire or serve in either law enforcement of military careers, comes new age of heroes. This new age was bought at the cost of a great many lives, both metahuman and normal. Shortly after the turn of the century, laws regarding capes were reversed. While the laws are still very strict, they have been relaxed. There is still a great deal of problems that normal law enforcement has with capes - most regarding destruction of evidence, illegal procedures, and plain old criminal methods.

Most capes still find themselves at odds with the law and forced back into retirement or subject to legal proceedings, or hunted by other metahumans that have worked so hard to get back in the good graces of the Law. As villains continued to gain ground a solution had to be found. It was named after a woman whose name is both loved and despised among the metahuman community. Her name was Heather Daniels.

The Heather Daniels Academy is for K thru 12. The Heather Daniels Institute for Higher Learning is for College level students. These facilities were founded with a few basic philosophies.

. No minors will be active heroes. They will be kept in an In Training status.

. No student will be an active hero until they have successfully completed law enforcement procedure courses.

. Lethal force will always be a last resort.

. Collateral damage must be kept to a minimum.

Initial Characters should be adults of college age.
