Description

There is no shame in pain. Or hate. Anger? No. These are all the disgraceful products of pleasure. Pain is pure and unequivocal. There is no `pleasure beyond endurance'. But pain? Oh, my. Has pleasure ever made you weep? Scream your throat raw? Can you imagine the pleasure that follows the cessation of pain? Or the loss? When the pain is gone, will you be able to endure the... nothingness?

Hellraiser: Vignettes- Horrors of the Flesh is a construct that invites writers of a darker nature to express their talents and fetishes in a group of like minded writers. Anyone can write of heroics and romances. Who among you can tantalize while exploring the horror and darkness of one's own soul?

This must be a group of adults who consent to share their Horrotica without judgment. It will not only serve as a forum for independent writers, but will unite collaborators with a particular morbid fascination with the macabre and unwholesome.

This project will encourage writers to employ the structure and concepts created by Clive Barker but will not limit it there. Vignettes. Short stories. In a world where the veil between reality and fantasy is as flimsy as the one between pleasure... and pain.

Does the idea attract? Repel? Write with us and you might find a place for your soul to vent its darkness.

Or read with us and we will tear your soul apart.
