Description

Magic Wars is an original game with an Anime\Manga flavor to it. The game is open-ended and hasn't started yet, as we are looking for players.->July 2010

Where we play: Touch My Game is a forum with friendly gamers currently playing a couple of RPGs (that you're also welcome to join). Feel free to take a look around. You'll find more information on the New Games Ideas topic of the forum.

What we are looking for: Several players to make the game dynamic. Posting at least once per day is desirable, more would be fine, as long as all players can keep up with it.

The Setting: Long ago there was a war between two kingdoms who used magic as their sole weapon. Both nations were blasted into oblivion in the final battle. Fastforward to present day earth. Teenagers in a certain boarding school are starting to have nightmares where they dream of being someone else and fighting unknown enemies with amazing magical abilities. Little do they know that they are just starting to remember their past lives and that they are about to start a new battle against their sworn enemies.

Character creation: You have to create who your character was in his or her past life. That includes: choosing a side in the conflict, choosing your magic domain and choosing your magic style. Then you have to choose who your character is in the present, which may or may not be in conflict with who you were in the past.

**Magic Domain: Determines which "spells" you can use. They are: Fire, Air, Water, Earth, Animal, Plant and Psychic.

**Magic Style: Determines how you cast your magic. This could be interpreted as a character class. You can use potions, symbols, magical artifacts, etc.

Played the game? You can send me comments to be placed on this page by writing lindahl@pbm.com. But don't write me attempting to join the game -- write the GM, whose address is above.

Are you the GM? You can update your listing by writing lindahl@pbm.com. If you have something new to say about your game, for example an opening for new players, you can create an announcement for your game.

Don't see your favorite game? Then you can add an entry for it.
