Description

Gamma39 is a roleplay Star Trek sim set in the DS9 era (early 2370s). We picked this timeline so we could build off of televised events, whilst slotting in our own as well. We welcome new and experienced SIMmers alike, the only requirement is a little universe familiarity and a good standard of writing, though if you wish to improve your written skills we will happily set up a critique section on the player wiki to discuss the finer points of English as well as trek.

At time of writing we have many open positions, and are quite happy to allow a player to have a primary account, as well as as many secondary NPCs as they wish - the only rule being that if another player wants a position one of your NPCs hold, that you retire or kill off the NPC, or change their duties to allow the Humans more quality rp time as necessary.

We aren't opposed to playing the world as vividly as you like, though you need to check with the command staff if you're posting explicit content in case of any junior or sensitive players. All communication should take place inside the Nova RPG management system, which allows for public posting of game material as well as personal logs, site-wide news announcements, as well as private messages to individuals or groups. If you're collaborating on a joint post or idea off site, that's fine - the only requirement is that any output everyone should see goes through the official system so nobody is left out.

We encourage anyone to visit, read and comment on our missions and have allowed RSS feeds to be open to anyone so that if you play, your interested friends can follow along. In that respect, your contributions to the game will be public, not just visible to other players. Drafts and all private messages of course remain entirely your own and hidden to everyone but the intended recipients.

We're pretty relaxed and pretty small. hopefully players will join us and make something of the idea, hopefully, you'll be one of them. We look forward to seeing you.

Played the game? You can send me comments to be placed on this page by writing lindahl@pbm.com. But don't write me attempting to join the game -- write the GM, whose address is above.

Are you the GM? You can update your listing by writing lindahl@pbm.com. If you have something new to say about your game, for example an opening for new players, you can create an announcement for your game.

Don't see your favorite game? Then you can add an entry for it.
