Setting/Overview:

In 2148, Humanity uncovered technology left behind on Mars by an ancient, extinct species known as the Protheans. This technology unlocked the ability to control the fabric of space and time - a technology known across the galaxy as 'Mass Effect'.

With this new technology, Humans began to travel beyond the boundries of the solar system, and even colonize other worlds. It also led to their meeting with other intelligent life, including the the races the made up Citadel Space - the largest known nation in the galaxy, ruling from an giant, and ancient, Prothean space station.

By 2183, the Council named the first Human Spectre, an agent with the authority to operate above and beyond the law, by the name of Commander Shepard. Soon after, it was uncovered that a Turian Spectre by the name of Saren Arterius had gone rogue and had allied himself with the mysterious synthetic species known as the Geth. The council sent their newest Spectre to track down and stop Saren.

The Citadel fell under attack by a fleet Geth warships, led by Saren's unimaginably powerful flagship, Sovereign. During a fierce battle between the Geth and the combined forces of the Earth Alliance and the Citadel, the Geth attackers were destroyed. Following this battle, Humanity was awarded with a seat on the Citadel Council.

Now, following the battle, the Citadel is being pieced back together and the Galaxy is recovering. Yet, rumors have arisen that Sovereign was not truly a Geth warship, but something far worse. Word has come in that Commander Shepard has been killed in action. Strife, crime, and corruption are still rampant in the galaxy, and a mysterious Spectre known only as 'The Salacious Salarian' has begun building a network of agents...

And thus the stage is set for Elcor Theatre.
