Newly commissioned in December 2385, the Ole Miss is a Sovereign Class Starship based out of Caesius Marine Base on Theta Antares III. The only SFCIS vessel within the 4th Fleet, the USS Mississippi is tasked with providing security, counter-intelligence, counter-terrorism, and law enforcement by Star Fleet. Federation President Nanietta Bacco issued Executive Order No. 13515 commissioning a new SFCIS vessel to combat the mounting threats the Federation faces. Also included in the order was the creation of a Circuit Court aboard the vessel to provide speedy trials for the accused. |
