In effect, the character(s) will have their initial 'origins' story (or variation there upon) on how they got their powers, but all previously existing comic-book history will no longer exist, they will be starting from scratch in a fresh new world in which various places from the Marvel/DC/Image universes now co-exist. The characters will start fresh with the player(s) and moderators guiding the future development of the characters. Imagine if you will that the character is now starting Issue #1 of a new comic/story and you the player will tell the new story. A rather expansive list of available characters have been posted on the forum and negotiations with the moderator are possible for characters missing from that list (though it is a very large list and id find it hard to believe that there are very many characters wanted that aren't on there.) There are rewards for good posts and drawbacks to bad posts. The fate of the New Origins Universe is now in your hands.
