Description

The year is 2384 and the events of the past decade have left a lasting impression on the Federation. Following the attempt by Shinzon and the Remens to destroy Earth, diplomatic relations with the Romulans are better than ever before; Recovery from the Domion War is still ongoing, but making progress every day; The Borg are at bay for the timebeing with very little contact having occured in the recent months and years.

Despite this period of recovery threats are as abundant as ever from outside the Federation, and indeed from within. Externally tensions are high with the Klingon Empire over the Federations new found friendliness with the Romulan Star Empire, and a new threat from "The Grey" is approaching from the horizon. Internally the Federation is facing a new type of enemy of which it has never had to face before; Terrorism is at an all time high, with Federation Starships and Installations being targeted - Special Forces, Marines and Intelligence Operatives have never been so busy. As the ranking officers of Starfleet sit behind their desks and in their meetings, there is no doubt that a darkness surrounds the Federation and that there is without a doubt trouble on the road ahead.

In response to all of these threats to Internal and External Security, the Federation Council authorised the formation of new fleets within Starfleet to help protect the Federation - a move welcomed by the people. One of these new fleets was Siren Fleet, tasked, as many are, to protect the known, and indeed unknown threats to Federation Security

In the deep of the ocean; in a sea as black as space itself, a cry can be heard, so shrill and powerful- it is the call of the Sirens.
