DescriptionWelcome to Rift Island, an alien tropical island `paradise' the size of Long Island. The residents of this island - like yourself - will be healthy human or humanoid refugees from all walks of life - human, alien (Vulcan, Klingon, Uruk Hai, Elves, Drow, gods, etc.), modern, futuristic, fantasy, altered time lines. (Details are available upon application. Character ORIGINS may not have the same restrictions. For example, they may have been an android or vampire before, but arrive in a human body.) Rift Island is a utopia devoid of old age, illness, injury, or deformity. And the only gear available to arriving characters is a grey bodysuit - for modesty. The game will be rated R or M for Mature. Sorry, but no kids allowed here. Graphic violence and cussing are acceptable, but don't overdo it. Yes, you may kill or be killed in this game, but if you have ever read Riverworld, you may guess that death isn't necessarily permanent. This will be a human guided adventure with emphasis on role-play rather than combat. Human interaction is stressed. So is problem solving. Exploration is going to be a must. And any conveniences will have to be created.
