Description

ODFL stands for Olmec Developmental Football League. It is for new players who wish to play in MSWL, SESL or SFLSL (see http://www.olmec.org/) to see if they like the game and to get used to the way things work. ODFL might also be used to try new things before passing them on to any of the three main leagues.

Olmec football has been running since 1989 and now has three leagues with slightly different rules but using the same core program. It was a spin-off of EEFL. Olmec is programmed by Allan Sellers and his league, MSWL, is in it's 17th season (as of April 2008). The other two leagues are SESL (20th season) and SFLSL (2nd season).

The program includes the following features:

-Online Lineup Architect to create lineups

-NMR Lineup Creator (used by the software to create lineups if a manager fails to send them in)

-Automated Processing of Matches (using Schedule Information)

-View/Update Schedules, Teams, and Players on-line

-Detailed Player/Team Statistics.

-Importing Players, Teams, and Schedules

-Trading Between Teams (Players, CP/TP, Cash)

-Player Auctions

-Online Blogs and Journals
