Description

The Glory of Kings is an 18th century game covering the entering globe. Players run countries as kings and princes, or take on lesser roles as leading pirates, financiers, and the like. The game has been around since 1989 but is now massively revamped and playable via email or snail mail, and in that time it has won awards!

What makes the game different? Historical accurate but without hamstringing players, it gives a great atmosphere and is a heavil tried and tested game system. It is supported by numerous supplements to back up the basic rules, and you can try to research and improve lots of aspects. The game also has a brilliant set of existing players who are more than happy to help newbies!

This new version brings in more full colour maps, the option of getting PDF format full colour illustrated in-game newspapers, and position information written entirely in plain English (gone are the days of staring at codes and trying to work out if they were infantry battalions or cavalry squadrons!).

If you like history or wargaming you'll love this!
