Description

There are things in the darkness that wait and watch. Hideous, terrible things that no man, woman or child should ever see. Sometimes, just sometimes, they venture out during the daylight but mostly they appear during the twenty-fifth hour; a secret hour that begins after midnight when the world is shackled by the chains of time.

You have known about this secret hour since you were a child. You know that, when midnight comes, the clocks stop ticking for sixty minutes. It is during this hidden period of time that the people around you become living statues, the cars on the roads freeze in place and even the raindrops simply stop falling. And it is in these hidden minutes that the darklings emerge from the shadows to satisfy their terrible hunger.

You are not alone. There are others like you in this world and they call themselves Midnighters. Born on the stroke of midnight, each is gifted with a unique ability that shines brightest in that secret hour. Many stand with you to fight against the dark tide but there are a few who have fallen somewhere along the way; Midnighters who have made pacts with the darklings in exchange for greater power. You despise the creatures of the night but your hatred is strongest for these Midnighters who have turned their back on their true purpose, betraying the people they were meant to protect and choosing to become enemies of their own kind.
