Description

"The Mansion" is an Engle Matrix Game by Annabelle Taylor set in the hill top get away of Millionaire Frederic Ankill. Ankill is well know for holding wild racy parties at his retreat. His contempt for propriety is renown. Now he has a new set of "guests": The crusading moralist, his bored and adventuresome wife, a good cop, his model girlfriend looking to get ahead, and a notorious gossip. Everyone has an agenda an someone is going to get hurt.

This game may go into some adult themes but nothing explicit.

The game will run through May and June (probably ending in early July) 2007.

Engle Matrix Games are pretty simple to play but do lead players throught a mental shift on gaming. Each turn a player picks a question from a list provided in the game. Their answer is their argument for what happen next in the game. Other players may jump in with counter-arguments to try and twist events in their favor. A referee decides how likely each argument is to happen and dice are rolled. Arguments either happen or don't. If they happen they become fact and the story builds from there.

This game is a story game but EMGs are also used to play wargames and political campaigns.

We play free PBEM games all the time on the MatrixGame2 yahoo group. If you are not interested in this game I hope you will drop by and check us out. We've been playing Matrix Games on line for ten years and face to face for nearly twenty years.
