For centuries humans ruled the world as the great Gendanate Empire. Gradually the royal families within the empire grew and became powerful. As they grew they became more and more factional, until each desired to seize the crown of the emperor for themselves. Now the empire has fractured into the seven great houses. Regions and cities have chosen sides and joined certain houses. Many areas fell into anarchy and became vulnerable to attacks. The collapse of the empire has also allowed the few barbarians and non-human races who had previously been subdued to attempt to seize power.

You play one of the great empires of the time: Gendante Empire, House Sirlak, House Anila, House Goen, House Wysloff, House Baigas, House Kinressa or one of the tribal powers: the Sasar Nomads, the Olgil Raiders, the Wood Elves, the Hill Trolls or the Merfolk. To win you must use a mix of force, diplomacy and economics with a little help from the gods.

This is a rewrite of Jeff Sullin's game Empire Forge.

At EMG we've run over 900 games, so come check us out.
